I went to the 20th reunion of the Courtier’s from Van Nuys High and had a great time visiting with old high school friends. ( See memorabilia below and pages from the 1962 Van Nuys High Yearbook via the link below.)

Unfortunately, a number of people didn’t come for one reason or another.

A few days ago, I received an invitation to the 50th reunion of the Courtiers. Now that fellow classmates have reached retirement age, I hope we have a good turnout.

The only person I have maintained regular contact with over the years is Bill Gibson. When I contacted him about the upcoming reunion being held Saturday, February 25, 2012, I was surprised to find that he had not received an invitation in the mail.

Apparently, GreatReunions.com doesn’t have a complete database of our graduating class.

So in hopes of seeing as many friends as possible from our class, I decided to create this page on my blog and get links to it posted to as many places as possible. Hopefully, this will help. (You can click on any of the images to expand them.)

It is hard to believe how inexpensive restaurant food was back then, 50-cents for a Big Boy hamburger, I can almost taste it now. Add a cherry coke and french fries, along with a side of bleu cheese dressing, and you had a great meal for under a dollar.

In addition to the Bob’s menu handout, there was one with information on what Courtiers had been up to since graduation.
